Thanks for visiting JG Pottery. I'm a South London based potter, my workshop is in Brixton. All my work is thrown, turned and glazed by hand. I make simple functional pieces. I tend to make either one off items or small batches so everything is quite unique in itself. I'm inspired by all sorts of things including 60s and 70s Scandinavian and German ceramics, studio pottery and other more well known British companies like Hornsea and Denby.

The items for sale here are a selection of ongoing work. I am happy to consider commissions and regularly produce wholesale orders for retail. Contact me for further information.

Shipping: All my online sales are sent out recorded delivery, they will be well protected for transit. I'm also happy for people to collect in person, just email to enquire. If you're wanting to purchase a few items then contact me first so I can calculate combined shipping, because everything varies in weight it's not possible to show it automatically when you purchase through my cart.

All of my items should in theory be ok in a dishwasher but I would recommend hand washing them to preserve their lifespan.

My work is also available to purchase at the following locations:

Reste, Hastings
Couverture & The Garbstore, Notting Hill, London
That Flower Shop, Shoreditch, London
No.56 Penzance, Cornwall
First Trade Days, Glasgow
Homeward, Leek, Staffordshire

Sage, Malmö, Sweden
Nous Paris, Paris, France

Apieceapart Manhattan, New York

I can also ship overseas direct but email me for a quote first as it can get expensive.

You can see my work in progress and other bits and bobs at my Instagram account.
